James Pomeroy (x2) - Castleton *

This house on Spring St. in Castleton (Lot 47) was the house that James Monroe Pomeroy (b1831) purchased in 1885 and is the house that his father, James Pomeroy (b1806), died in 1887. I recently discussed this with a Castleton resident and she confirmed she grew up in this house and had the original deed to prove James Pomeroy ownership.
